DTEC Feed Buckets
The DTEC range of feed buckets are designed to grab and cut silage, mix it with other concentrates and feed it out from the side of the machine.
The integrated shear grab is designed to cut out the silage from a silage pit or to cut silage bales in half. Once the grab is shut, the rotor spins clockwise and as it spins, knifes mounted on the rotor cut the silage into smaller pieces. Paddles on the auger then mix the silage with any other feeds added, such as straw, hay, rolled barley or meal. Once mixed the grab is then opened and a small side discharge door opens, the rotor then spins anti-clockwise and distributes the mix out from the side of the bucket.
There are 3 models:
DTEC240 - 2.4m wide
DTEC 200 - 2m wide
DTEC 180 - 1.8m wide
We currently have two machines out on long term test and the buckets will be availble to order from March 2023 ready for Autumn 2023 delivery.
